On the road down from the pass, some cows were hanging out in the road, a very common sight here. I have become adept at swerving around them while driving our main highway.

High pass, Cheli La
This high pass between Thimphu and Haa usually has amazing views of Jholmohari (see my past posts for pictures of how I’ve seen this gorgeous peak. For monsoon season, we still had beautiful views, and sun!
Alpine flowers abound. I need to look up what exactly these are.
